my approach

I aim to capture documentary-style, candid moments that are unique to you two. My goal is to create authentic images, with the occasional posing suggestion to make the image more impactful. But for the most part I prefer to be an observer rather than an interferer; I’ll show you where the best viewpoints are, but I want to capture your genuine reactions to being in these dramatic places together. I love silly candids of guests, moments-in-between, and tiny people in dramatic landscapes.

I edit the same way I edit my work for large brands like Patagonia - film-inspired with natural, slightly muted tones. I believe this gives my images a timeless look that will still look good in 20 years.

An elopement or intimate wedding is an outdoor celebration that blends your love for each other and the outdoors. There’s no stress about invitations or enormous venue fees. It’s all about you.

There is so much overlap between weddings and elopements in Moab and Jackson that I decided to price them the same.
An elopement will generally involve less people and more time outdoors. A wedding usually combines time outside as well as formal venues, more structure, and more guests.
Clients will receive my client guide, which provides valuable information on timeline, permitting, and location planning.
I never set a number of photographs because there are so many factors that go into it (travel between locations and so on). But clients can roughly expect to receive 40+ images per hour or more, for an 8 hour wedding.
Clients will receive a high resolution gallery with a download key and optional USB. Clients will also receive their choice of image for one 11x18 fine art print. Clients will have full print and social media rights.
Instead of sneak peeks, I provide a physical Instax film photo that you can take with you.
Galleries will include:
-Images of the smaller details you put so much thought into
-Finishing touches of the getting-ready process
-Group photos (bridal party, groomsmen, everyone together)
-First look (optional)
-Ceremony
-Family photos
-Couple photos
-Reception
-Golden hour photos
Elopements and weddings are priced the same, though elopements have a shorter, 3 hour option. Prices for weddings with large guest counts may vary. Inquire via my contact form for pricing.

engagements + vow renewals

Engagements last 1.5 hours and can vary from surprise proposals we plan in advance to casual announcement photos so you can share the news. Hit me with your best ideas!
Deliverables include 60-75 high resolution images. Clients will have full social media and print rights.
bridals + first look

Bridals + First Looks are the perfect way to capture epic destination photos in your wedding attire without sacrificing a traditional wedding back home with family and friends. Plan a 2 hour shoot in advance to print photos for display on your actual wedding date.
Deliverables include 40+ images / hour. Clients will have full social media and print rights.
