Jackson Hole and Moab hold a particular kind of magic. The rocky canyons and braided rivers of these big landscapes create space for love to unfold authentically. Of course, if you’re planning something as huge as your wedding day here, you already know that. What you need a photographer based in these landscapes who knows them intimately to seamlessly guide your day.
My approach is documentary-first. I won't dominate your wedding day or turn it into an endless photoshoot. There are moments for couples portraits but on the whole, I prefer observe. I'll guide when needed and step back when the best moments are unfolding on their own. The result is a gallery that feels honest, artistic, and unmistakably yours.

Elopements give you the freedom to celebrate in a way that actually feels like you. No strict timelines. No pressure to entertain 150 guests. Just the two of you (and maybe a few favorite people) exploring incredible places and focusing on what matters most.
You're not just booking photography. You're getting local expertise, planning guidance, timeline design, permit assistance, and someone who knows these landscapes as well as they know their camera.
Packages start at $5,600 for 5 hours. Couples invest $5,600-$6,200 on average.
weddings
A Jackson Hole wedding is still an outdoor experience, but the day is built around celebrating with your family and friends. There are ceremonies to begin on time, guests to welcome, dinners to enjoy, and dances to share. We'll absolutely make time for breathtaking portraits, but they become part of a larger story centered around the people you love.

The first step is to reach out to me via my contact form, even if you don’t have any ideas beyond just a date and Jackson Hole or Moab yet. The more we chat, the more I’ll be able to suggest ideas for your dream day.

Once we’ve settled on a general location, date, and package, I’ll send over my contract and invoice for a retainer.

After that, I’ll send you my in-depth, local-informed guide for planning and the day of the wedding. This includes vendor recommendations, what colors to wear and to avoid, and more.
As someone who lives inside Grand Teton, I’m here to answer any questions you have along the way. I love being included in the timeline process so I can provide feedback on the best lighting and time for certain locations.

The wedding day should follow the timeline we’ve laid out. But sometimes we have to have a plan b because of weather, so that’s where someone genuinely familiar with Grand Teton will come in handy.

You’ll leave with memories (and probably some iPhone pics) and I’ll go home with all of those RAW files and turn them into something magical! I turnaround galleries in 6 weeks, on average.
I do not offer albums because they feel like an expensive, dated thing that not many people ask for anymore. You can buy prints through your gallery, though.

bridals + first look
You don't have to choose between a destination backdrop and a hometown wedding. Bridal sessions give you dramatic Western landscape photos in your wedding attire while keeping your traditional celebration with family and friends. We'll spend 2 hours creating stunning images you can print and display on your actual wedding day or just treasure forever.
Deliverables include 40+ images / hour. Clients will have full social media and print rights.

There are moments where I think editorial photos look incredible and I may shoot a few. But on the whole, I strongly prefer to capture honest moments of joy and connection with a photojournalistic, documentary style.

I don’t do styled shoots - everything you see here is the real deal. Real couples having an incredible time on their wedding days.

Some photographers charge extra for edited photos, a certain number of photos , travel, and so on. I don’t - I set a price that incorporates my time at your wedding and my editing services. Editing is a nonnegotiable of wedding photography and no one should have to pay extra for that.

I started out taking landscape photos on my thru-hikes, so the mountains and desert are a huge part of the way I shoot. You two are the main attraction but the stunning natural features are a close runner up.

Clients will receive a guide to different recommended activities in the area. I’ve written a number of Moab and Jackson Hole travel guides for publications like US World and News Report and Field Mag, so I’m a pro at finding activities that everyone will enjoy.
