Grand TetoN Elopement Photographer
Grand Teton National Park holds a particular magic. From ceremonies framed by craggy peaks to receptions where mountain breezes carry laughter across sagebrush valleys, this landscape creates space for love to unfold authentically. Connecting you to the wilderness, to each other, and to moments that transcend the ordinary.
Your Grand Teton Guide
I’m Danielle, a Grand Teton elopement photographer who lives at Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park from May to October.
I’ve found myself drawn to this valley year after year. As a wedding photographer who thrives in untamed landscapes and seeks genuine emotion, I’ve discovered that Jackson Hole isn't just a backdrop. It’s a creative sanctuary, a place to witness love stories that are both deeply personal and beautifully honest.
Between work and life in Grand Teton, I’ve witnessed these mountains and valleys at every time of day. I know the way our weather builds and breaks and how to anticipate the unexpected. Whether your day involves a gathering of loved ones atop Rendezvous Peak or just the two of you beneath the rising sun, I’m here to guide you with the ease and skill that only a true local can.
If you’ve landed here, chances are you have a special connection to this incredible park in Wyoming and are looking for a Grand Teton wedding photographer.
I am a photojournalistic wedding photographer who primarily shoots outdoors - this means that I aim to capture honest moments of unplanned connection.

As a long time resident and experienced Grand Teton elopement photographer, I’ve captured tons of love stories against the dramatic backdrop of these iconic peaks. From enormous weddings at Rendezvous Lodge to elopements so intimate we need to find another visitor to sign your witness papers, each style of wedding deserves thoughtful coverage that reflects your relationship and your day.
I love capturing “tiny people in big landscapes,” representing you two beautifully against the incredible view. But I also love, love, love the weird, funny, unplanned, candid moments that really give a feel for you two and your day and tell the complete story.
I’m here to document your day in a mostly un-staged way - this means making an itinerary with you but also going with the flow; letting you and have family have moments together and photographing from the outside; overall, just capturing you being you.
I do provide posing prompts occasionally to capture the more dramatic shots that most couples still want, but I never force a pose that doesn’t feel natural. I want you to look at these photos and recognize yourselves and the details that matter most to you.
Grand Teton Elopement Experience
Local Knowledge
There is just no comparison to a photographer who actually lives in Grand Teton National Park. I don’t just see the wedding venues on the day-of or on Google Earth - I’m walking down to the Colter Bay Swim Beach every evening and going running around String Lake. I pass four of the most popular wedding sites on my hour-long drive to the grocery store.
Every time I’m rafting, hiking, running, mountain biking, or climbing (so like, every day), I’m taking notes on the lighting, crowds, and secret little spots that travel photographers (or even Jackson Hole wedding photographers who live in town) just aren’t going to know.
All my booked couples receive a detailed wedding or elopement client guide, and as much personal assistance as you need with planning so you can have your dream day.
Natural, Documentary Style
My unobtrusive "documentary-style” approach captures authentic moments as they naturally unfold. I document genuine interactions that showcase your true connection against the backdrop of the Tetons. While I’ll provide guidance when needed, I believe your wedding day should be about experiencing each precious moment, not performing for the camera.
I prioritize real emotions and candid moments that tell your unique story. Whether you're sharing a quiet laugh during your first look or dancing under the stars, my patient, observant style ensures you’ll have images of those fleeting moments you'll want to remember forever.
Grand Teton Elopement Collections
Most Grand Teton elopements begin at $5,800 for five hours. Longer elopements can be split into sunrise and sunset sessions to maximize the most beautiful times of day in our little mountain valley.
